2010 First Brethren Church Theme Verse

"REMAIN IN ME"

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

John 15:5

WORSHIP AT FIRST BRETHREN

JULY 18: Pastor Kurt encourages us to press on in the face of opposition and fear. Nehemiah is a great example of what can happen when God's people work side by side to restore what has crumbled.

JULY 25: Pastor Kurt continues to uncover the lessons and results of being united as a family and as a church.

AUGUST 1: While God's name is never mentioned explicitly in the book of Esther, this book assumes His sovereign rule at every point of this powerful story. Pastor Kurt will explore the courage of Esther and the call to believe God has a plan for our lives.

AUGUST 8: Pastor Kurt begins a new series based on the difficult teachings of Jesus. What did Jesus really mean when he said, "Come Follow Me"?

AUGUST 15: A special communion (bread and cup) will be included during this morning service as we take a look at how Jesus practices what He preaches.
